is the release of the orcs campaign occurring this year still feasible?
Great, now I can sleep again ! No more daily site checking :D
Glad to see an update and a reference from a fantastic series!
It really needs icons, its very distracting to not have them. Even recoloured icons from the base game would work.
Can't wait to hear more about the orc campaign and that new UI skin, and I'm glad to see more news being posted :D
Good to see you back.
This says it's a pack of subraces but I'm only seeing the Elkosh added. Should I be seeing more races or are they the only one implemented yet?
With the latest batch of commits from ptitSeb glshim has been able to handle a lot more games (possibly even Tome or nobody'd tried it before)
The only "surprise" so far came from the level with a 3d spinning globe, which is being rendered perfectly, and nothing else 2d besides! :)
EDIT:
Android support was added to glshim yesterday.
Every time I'll try to move talents on hotbar by mouse, or rightclick on empty space in hotbar, ToME drops lua error. Talent also often dissapears from hotbar when moved, so I need to use m menu to modify or move them.
Error for rightclick in empty space:
Lua Error: /mod/class/uiset/Minimalist.lua:1955: attempt to index local 'hk' (a nil value)

Error for moving talent to other place on hotbar:

I use ToME 1.3.1 with ZOmnibus addon pack.
Very well done. Fits in well. Thanks.
Trying it out so far. I agree, it's definitely evident you've spent time on the new zone, and the twist in the end is fun. I disagree with previous commentor about having to unlock the class, though; I like that you have to unlock it, myself. It's fun and cool.
A couple things that could make the zone better, IMO: (1) No auto-explore is tedious and irritating in this game. The graphics style is just too indistinct, and how the UI obscures the view when you're exploring the edge of a map just makes it painful. Enabling auto-explore would be nice!
(2) The lore and descriptive texts need some polishing. I'd be happy to do it, if you wanted.
Other than that, again, I like it and enjoyed the zone.
Thanks for reading and for making the mod!
Sorry the automatic spam filter sometimes is a bit hum .. zealous ;)
Interesting link thanks.
I had given glshim (or something akin to it) a try but I dont remember great results :/
Anyway the porting to GL ES is needed to improve the gfx performance anyway so .. :)
I can't imagine why someone gave it a low vote without commenting why. Anyway, the description writing is solid and it fits in very well, which to me is a big deal. And the race is solid. I like it.
I want to donate but paypal won't let me use my debit card.Idon't if its cause I'm from the US or what.I'd like to donate though and get the perks and xtra expansion!Perferably without steam because they make me log into everytime I want to play something.
Where did my reply go? It was informative on the subject of the bleeding edge GLES Tome testing. Why would anybody wish to censor it?
Instead of repeating myself, I'll refer anyone interested in making Tome work on arm Linux using glshim to this thread:

Oh, wow, you actually pulled it off. I have to admit that when I downloaded this addon to try it, I was skeptical. Nah, this dude is gonna try, but there's no way he's gonna get it right, I'm thinking. But you did it, and it's a blaast. You clearly put a lot of thought into this, and it not only works well and successfully pulls off putting a GW2 mesmer (arguably the trickiest, most asymmetrical class in GW2) in TOME, but does it with style and good writing. In short, AWESOME and THANK YOU. Please do more if you ever feel up to it.
It won't be necessary to have the game ported to gles on Linux platforms as I've just built the game on Odroid C1 and it seems to be working perfectly using ptitSeb's glshim and SDL2.
I'm going to inquire in the forums about building an SDL version which (at least for now) would be preferable as SDL2 should default to gles and not opengl.
A really nice variant to the dwarf. One thing, though -- the description says that the Resilience of the Dwarves has weakened in these dudes, and it does not show up on their charsheet or skills list, but my char starts with it in-game nonetheless.
Is this intentional? Or an oversight?
Thanks for making it.
I really like this. Some clever thought behind it, and fun to go around constantly biting people and being moody. :D Please do keep it up to date when you have time.
A much-needed quality of life improvement. The game is much better without the frustrating default behavior of rescuees. Thanks.
I got a teleportation rune on me that made for a Lua error every time I tried to mouse over it or replace it. I didn't write down the error, but it was something 98. Anyway, I had to remove the mod to be able to continue playing without the error.
A good question!
Hopefully the GLES renderer can be kept seperate from any android port so it can work on Raspberry Pi 2.
That would be worth donating towards!
It looks pretty good, but right up front the writing smacks you in the face. It won't bother everyone, but, at least for me, writing that is technically of poor quality (punctuation, syntax, etc.) is a real turn-off. Need to polish that up.
It's nothing major, but it feels like the class is only really built for berserkers. And why do they start with the magic set of runes instead of infusions? Or was that explained in the lore blurb.
Using the command "Run" with this addon causes Lua error.
