Hello sorry to trouble you but any idea how I can change the games resolution outside of the game? I'm guessing there is a file with the options in it but no idea which one.
I'm on bate 36 and would like to finish playing my mage before moving to 37 if I can.
Also wasn't sure on best way to contact someone :) so thank you for your time.
Kind regards Ram.
[edit] Solved by the almighty darkgod I am not worthy :)
Nice post!
It increases many attributes. The effect is usually weaker than a stat increment, but it affects a lot of them.
+ 1 luck gives +0.4 defense, +0.4 accuracy, +0.3% in each crit rate, +0.175 in each save and +0.2% save from own spells (e.g. spells with an AOE like Inferno)
+ 1 to "that was an awesome post". I love reading about other people's characters and their close calls.
What is luck good for?
That was an awesome post.
No, I never played with Yeek char. May be later I'll try it.
Did you put some Yeeks in the server?
good news
Yeah I've noticed the large amount of new players.... Not a bad thing at all... And is it just me or has the amount donated gone up a lot in the last month? :)
Oh, server troubles, that explains a lot. I've been having those for quite some time now, I starting to think it was an issue with versions mismatch, bit confusing how in game it says 0.9.37 and on the site it called 1.0.0 Beta 37
I greatly approve of this post.
Nope, it should just run if you have it in the right folder. If you're seeing an off-guard effect from monsters with high accuracy (snakes for example) while your defense is 20 or less it's working.
I would not agree that the spellblaze is easier than dreadfell. It can be very tricky and unless your very prepared for the Grand Corruptor you will not be too happy with the outcome. I find Dreadfell much easier to "control" and the Spellblaze quite challenging.
My bad.
Downloaded the addon..put it in my addon folder...do I need to do anything specific to activate it? I can't find anything indicating that its running differently from the base engine.

Could the server troubles also be related to the fact that the game keeps trying to get on-line (and, afaict, succeeding) even when on-line profile access is disabled? There are times when I pretty much have a non-stop series of "Attempting to connect," "Connection failed," or "Connection established" messages as I'm playing even though I don't have on-line connection enabled.
I mostly play casters, so grain of salt etc etc, but I generally find the Spellblaze is about as hard as the Elven Ruins...probably easier. The boss of the area is tough, and you see a lot of ranged enemies about, but I suspect it could be brute-forced pretty easily any time between the tier two dungeons and Dreadfell itself.
Thanks :)
Wow. I've had a couple drinks but still managed to delete what I *was* going to write. Pteriforever? STFU. If Shockbolt gfx are ugly, then you can play in ASCII mode- in which case custom tiles for donating wouldn't matter to you in the first place. Stop trolling while you're young, bad habits will hold you back all through life.
Graphics are easily changed in the settings. No need to complain about something that is not a permenant setting.
Oh, and Shockbolt gfx are ugly
It's not the money that upsets me. As I'm 14 and therefore don't have a credit card, it's more the hassle.
And even that's not too bad. What saddens me is that this signals that the developers value people who give them money over the rest of their adoring fanbase.
