| Addons | Nekarcos's Quality of Life 09: Automation 1.7.6This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
Provides the player various settings that control which objects will automatically be excluded from transmogrification.
Adds two bindable keys to [Key Bindings] that lets you wait for either 100 or X many turns.
Adds a bindable key to [Key Bindings] that causes your currently-controlled character to perform a single, AI-controlled action during combat.
When replacing a usable object with another usable object, all of the old object's talent hotkeys will be replaced with the new object's hotkey as well. Stability: High Schematics of Ascendancy 1.7.4Allows schematic-only artifacts from EoR to be learned AoA or Infinite Dungeon. Each one is unlocked randomly by defeating bosses (not elite bosses) above level 20. Troll Race. 1.7.2This addon adds Trolls as a playable race to the game. Trolls possess the Trollblood talent, which grants them high life-regeneration, but makes them vulnerable to fire. Race Stats: Str = 3 Mag = -3 Will = -2 Dex = -1 Con = 5 Liferating = 18 Exp-Penalty = 1.4 (Trolls aren't known for learning things fast) Size = Big (Increases with your racial abilites) Fear Immune Talents Trollblood(Passive): Life-regen, but fire-vulnerability. Scales with size. Scent(Active): Reveals the map around you, gives you a speedboost. Resilience of the Trolls(Passive): Increases saves and size category. Scales with size. Song of the Trolls(Active): AOE-damage with stun-chance. Scales with size. Increases size category. I hope you enjoy this! I would be very happy to receive some criticism :) If you got something to mention about balancing issues or if you find some errors, just tell me, i'll update this frequently. Audiomancy 1.7.4Version 1.2.1 released Jan 16, 2023; see change notes. Audiomancy is an audio enhancement for ToME that does not affect music. It started with the High Quality Sounds mod (thanks to Gurkoz), but it does a bit more than replace sounds. It enhances the code introducing random variance, layering, and new trigger points. Weapon types (sword, great axe, mace, sling, bows, etc.) have distinct sounds in combat, along with NPC types having different impact sounds. Many weapons have distinct critical hit sounds as well. Ranged weapons have separated attack and hit sounds. Melee and ranged talents you would have expected to produce sound before likely will with this mod. Multiple hits trigger multiple sounds, e.g. the Volley talent. There is still more to do, especially in terms of providing distinct sound effects for various game mechanics and talents, but the code as-is will affect almost every sound played in the game while adding more. I attempted to maximize compatibility, replacing a single function and using superloading and hooking for the rest. Version 1.2.1: Version 1.2.0: Version 1.1.0: Weaver Class 1.7.6Adds Weaver class. Weaver is a Wilder subclass, a resilient unarmed combatant with emphasis of moving around strategically through their set-up battlefield. Their skill sets revolve around arachnids. Laying webs, injecting enemies with poison, beating enemies with your limbs, creating cocoon for later consumption, and more! Their talents mainly uses equilibrium, have huge equilibrium demand yet heavy hitting, and moderate-long cooldown. Some even needs "special charge" to use. So if you decide to become one of the weaver, make sure to use your talents and resources wisely! They get access to: --- wild-gift: weaver anatomy wild-gift: threads and webs wild-gift: dance of the Weaver wild-gift: cocoon utilization wild-gift: chitin --- Post Note: We are highly looking forward for you to become one of the weaver and take part on the hunt for preys!. Please leave reviews, comments, and certainly bug reports! Happy hunting, Weaver! Void Scholar - Celestial Class 1.7.0Adds the Void Scholar, a twisted Celestial class themed around cosmic expansion and the emptiness of space, featuring a unique starting scenario. Void Scholars are dedicated spellcasters with poor durability, but many ways to negate damage and debilitate foes. Their spells are ineffective against nearby targets, but grow incredibly potent when cast at a distance -- strike from the depths of infinity, where no eyes or blades can reach! They use a unique resource called "Void Energy" that is built up by casting certain spells and quickly disperses when out of combat, requiring careful management to retain momentum. Unique talent trees: All things come to an end, adventurer. Those who place themselves above the slow march of the cosmos should take heed not to stand upon nothing. Tinker Cave for Everyone 1.7.0Places the entrance to the tinker cave from the Embers of Rage DLC (required) on the world map for all characters in the Age of Ascendancy campaign, without requiring that the character be playing a Tinker class or rescue a tinker escort. Sounds: Changelog1.0.0 - Release Damblis Race 1.7.6Adds the Damblis, a race of humans developed during the Age of Allure, though not as well known as the Higher. During the heights of human and halfing power, many nobles sought entertainments of all variety: comical, martial... sensual. One particualr noble house began to curate beauty and charisma among their subjects, using any means they could, leading to the creation of the Damblis humans. While the details of the process that led to their refinement are unknown, the results were unquestionable: a breed of humans possessing unmatched beauty and charm, able to beguile any who so much as looked upon them. Some say their allure goes beyond mere physical beauty and swear they entrance others by caressing their inner thoughts with mental powers beyond understanding. 1. Dressed to Kill: Once per turn when an enemy sees you they must save against your mindpower or suffer mind damage. The damage can not be reduced by mental save and can be a mental critical hit. Your mindpower for this check is boosted based on your equipped rings, necklace, and belt. Enemies of rank Normal and lower will simply die instead of taking damage. 2. Stunning Looks: Enemies within a cone with a radius equal to your vision range must make a physical save against your mindpower or become stunned for several turns. 3. Irresistible: Enemies who can see you but are not adjacent to you suffer from a stacking affliction which reduces their saves, defense, and resistance to all damage. 4. Take it Off: All enemies who can see you when you sustain this talent will suffer from talent failure chance so long as they can still see you and you continue to sustain the talent. Requires a belt. Full details on the forum page. Outlander 1.7.4Adds Outlander as a playable human subrace, he has VERY UNIQUE talents. v1.0.10: now it costs 100% - 20% current xp if you want to learn a talent from an enemy. More Taints Fixed - Bamboo Edition 1.7.4Fixes an error caused by this mod when trying to curse items. Line 342 of AlterTalents.lua changed to "self:incIncStat(self.STAT_WIL, -2)" Does not require the Original More Taints, but will remove if asked. Original by HousePet, forked by grayaegis to fix curse errors, forked again by mannendake due to taints not actually generating and making descriptions/races more compatible. Naloren Pack 1.7.4Adds two races, one class, a new town, and a new low level dungeon. Completing a quest to explore the new dungeon unlocks purchasable perks in the town. This quest is the starting quest for the added races, but anyone can access an alternate version of the quest with the same rewards. Look toward the coast east of Last Hope to get started. Available perks (cost varies): Gain the ability to invest in Heavy Armour Training and equip mail(heavy) armor by meeting the requirement with the highest of Constitution and Dexterity (or Strength, as usual). Gain bonus attack and movement speeds and a chance to evade incoming damage while wearing mail(heavy) armor. These values scale with Dex and Con, respectively. Learn (locked or unlocked) a new Psionic/Mindstar combat talent tree. Similar to Wild-Gift/Mindstar mastery, this tree also has a Psiblades sustain. Once learned, you can also pay to boost mastery (as with Mindstar mastery from Zigur). --- Psionic/Mindstar combat: Psiblades: Mind Thorns: Mind Storm: Psionic Balance: --- Races: The Naloren are elven race with an affinity for water who are adept with mail armor, whips and tridents. Very Crafty Hands 1.7.4Changes the Crafty Hands prodigy to allow imbuing into any item. This is probably not balanced at all and just exists as a proof of concept. Recaiden's Evolution Prodigies 1.7.0Includes 4 new Class Evolutions:
Isn't Zephyr already a class? Nekarcos's Quality of Life 07: Visible Size Categories 1.5.0This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
Artificer Class 1.7.4Adds an Artificer class to the game. Beware: Although powerful later on, artificers have a weak early game, and require a good deal of item management to succeed. This class may not be for everyone. Requires Embers of Rage DLC Lumberjack on the Map 1.7.0Places the Cursed Village event on the map as a lumberjack NPC rather than an undetectable encounter. A companion piece to Melinda on the Map and Merchant on the Map; they can be used together or separately. The Hammer of Urh'Rok: Part I 1.7.4The Hammer of Urh'Rok, Part I ((This Addon requires the Ashes of Urh'rok DLC)) In this timeline, the Scourge from the West died after using the Demonic Orb of Many Ways, giving the demons everything they needed to get through the planetary shield. As a Bringer of Doom in service to the demonic invasion, you will fight your way across a dozen new zones, uncover mysteries, pillage cities, join evil cults, and bring ruin to the land of Maj'Eyal. Future updates will bring better art, more variety, and all sorts of content. Now with 4 pieces of art by rexorcorum! Rocketman Gear Pack 1.7.6Un-ego'd gear that can be upgraded! Soon to be expanded with custom art and more items.. Adds sunstone gear to the game, and a new type of ego based off of crystal hearts! The art is not finished yet, but as is there are several character sprites to choose from along with sprites for the chest armor, swords, and sun crystals. Sunstone is an armor type that provides bonuses to max life, blight and darkness resistance at the expense of being ravaged by acid. Sunstone weapons provide damage conversion, and a slight bonus to penetration of their element. And lastly, sun stones/crystals upgrade gear of white/green quality to artifact status. Increasing their armor and light/nature damage. In addition to providing some light damage on hit. (soon to be split into mossy (nature) and regular (light) variants. Corrupted Skeleton 1.7.6A few changes to skelly I thought would make it actually interesting to pick for some classes as it previously was easily the worst race because it didn't cover any of the weaknesses or encourage any synergies with any class. These changes make Skeleton focused a lot more on being a tank, which its talents originally hinted at. The first talent now gives a massive amount of physical saves that scale with constitution. This replaces the duration reduction of the third talent. The duration reduction is largely a useless stat if you can't get it to 100% reduction as debuffs are either "I don't care about this" or "I want this gone immediately." Immunities have typically always been the go to. Most classes have their immunites or debuff clears as their third or final talent, so putting this as the first talent gives some incentive to use this over Shalore. Originally it was going to be full physical debuff immunity like with Spine of the World but after some deliberation I figured this was too good. I kind of like the saves here as a way to demonstrate just how much is needed to be good. The numbers for this are chosen that provided you put in significant investment, it should provide excellent returns such that it's the only source of physical save needed on difficulties of insane or lower. The third talent now gives you the Corruption/Bone tree. This here because I thought this would be fun, and thematic. I got a bit of feedback that people wanted a mobility tree on Skeleton, but honestly I feel like that removes one of the interesting weaknesses of the class, that you are forced to use blink rune for mobility. This drawback provides some interesting decisions in what to select for your race and I think it should remain to encourage strategic building. Also: Reassemble now scales with Constitution. Both Bone Armour and Reassemble's descriptions have been updated to fully detail the things they scale with. They previously did not mention that they scale with your max HP. Classes that would be good with this skelly rework: Classes without a lot of defenses, classes with a lot of mobility, classes with the Corruption/Bone tree, classes that don't need to focus on 3 non-Constitution stats. Update 1.2.0 Also I fixed a couple of bugs. Learning the Bone talents now correctly gives the Vim resource bar and puts them on your hotbar automatically. Shimmer Pack: Iron Throne Couture 1.6.0Cosmetic pack! Cultists Event Chance 1.7.2increase chance to encounter Shasshhiy'Kaish in Daikara, for lazy unlock doom elf Race: Battleborn 1.7.4Adds battleborns as a new subrace. They are combat centric humans. Life Rating: 12 Experience Penalty: 10% Racial talent tree: The Unstoppable Fighter - Passively increases immunities to stun, confusion, pin, fear, silence. The Savvy Fighter - Passively increases critical chance, critical power, Armor Penetration and Accuracy. Faster Stronger Better - Passively increases Global speed, Physical speed, movement speed and all damage done. ---Changelog Rather Crafty Hands 1.7.4Allows base Imbue Item to apply to helmets, and changes Crafty Hands to allow any armour. Playable Wight Race 1.7.4Adds High Wights as a playable race: tough, psionic undead who arise naturally yet stand outside the natural order. Also adds Forest Wights as a playable race: undead with a connection to fire, light, and nature. Models by Rexorcorum. Faster Egress Artifact Rolling 1.7.4Immediately gives you 3 appropriate artifacts upon entering the egress instead of having to brute-force combinations. Deathknight Compatibility Patch 1.7.0Fixes compatibility issues between Deathknight and other addons. Fixed conflict with Frost Invoker's frost tree. (https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/frost_invoker) Loot Expansion 1.7.4Aadd-on that expands on the available Egos and Semi-Random Artifacts available. Introduces all sorts of new Effects and Talents used with both! For example: Spellslinger - A Passive that increases Spellpower per visible enemy in a range of 2 - Rolls on Hats Nether Resonance - A Passive found on the Semi-Random Artifact 'Netheric Diadem' that increases Light resist by half of Magic stat and Nature resist by half of Willpower stat. Combust - Found on 'Pyrophage' items, if you hit a burning enemy, cause an aoe of fire damage and gain a temporary life-regen buff. Mystical Recovery - Found on shields, when blocking, 20% chance to lower the cooldown of a random spell-type talent based on item level. All That Glitters - Activated talent found on Rings, gives you a temporary buff to Spellpower based on how much money you have. This is only a small sampling of new additions among the 10 semi-random Artifacts and 100+ Egos. There are still many more of both to come and I will be posting a full breakdown of all the new components soon. At this time, many of the added Egos are Greater, so they will only appear on blue or purple items. Designed to be compatible with other addons, please report any possible collision issues. In the meantime, please check it out and post any questions, concerns, or tuning feedback. Class: Hekatonkheire 1.7.0This adds three new classes, two of which are loosely based on the Headless Horror, plus a mini-adventurer that gets talents from all three. Hekatonkhieres are spell-using melee combatants who mix armed and unarmed attacks while accompanied by their eldritch Wandering Eyes. New Talents Advanced Talents Old Talents: By special request: New Talents Advanced Talents Old Talents: Kharybdians are ocean mages who mix attack spells, summons, and a precise sense of timing. Essentially a copy-paste of Melinda on the Map. Nocturne 1.7.4Adds the Nocturne, a Darkness-based Doomed evolution. The Nocturne gains extra proficiency in the Cursed/Darkness tree, as well as access to two new high-level trees: Nightwalker - Use the darkness to escape, approach, hide, heal, and invisibly strike your foes. Umbra - Your darkness takes hold inside your enemies, giving you unprecedented power against them. Recalling Home 1.7.0Adds "anchor pedestals" to various non-main campaigns, allowing the player to modify the Rod of Recall so that it transports the player to the campaign's designated "home" area instead of to the wilderness. Currently pedestals are placed in:
Inspired by Erenion's Light From Below addon, which provides similar functionality in its Light From Below campaign. Necro NegLife+ 1.7.2Makes a couple of tweaks to Necromancer to make it less prone to accumulating disproportionate amounts of positive life, thus helping its 0-life threshold gimmicks retain relevance: Blurred Mortality now converts half of your maximum life bonus from Constitution to negative death threshold, retroactively. This is a relatively minor change, but it will at least stop Constitution from giving a greater proportion of positive life to negative life per point at high levels. Lichform will convert half of the maximum life you gain from levelling up after transforming to negative death threshold (non-retroactively). Instead of drastically increasing the proportion of positive life to negative life to the point where the latter is practically dwarfed and never encountered outside of extreme situations, Lichform will now cause you to break perfectly even, and in most cases will in fact slow the rate at which you gain positive life. (Credit to GlassGo on the forums for suggesting this behaviour!) These tweaks will likely cause some level of disruption to Necromancer's power balancing, so any feedback given on the forums towards further polishing would be appreciated. Enjoy! Doctornull's Class Pack Creep Fix 1.7.4A fix for the creep skill not working in the current version 1.7.4 original description: NOTE: use this one instead, not both Contains some new hybrid classes: Ascetic, Blood Mage, Creep, Flenser, Striker, Gravitic Infantry, Storm Warden, Transcendent Fist, Vector, and a few others. Details & discussion here: This revision is mostly about removing incompatible bits which changed between 1.4 and 1.5, so the classes are rather bare at the moment. I'm registering it so I can play online. I'll post when the additional content is ready. Merchant on the Map 1.7.0Places the Lost Merchant event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. A companion piece to Melinda on the Map; they can be used together or separately. Pre-Paid Hiemal Shield 1.7.0If you capture a soul via Soul Leech (or other method) while you are at maximum soul capacity and your Hiemal Shield is depleted, allows you to store the soul in a temporary Hiemal Buffer to be used to pay the soul cost the next time your Hiemal Shield regenerates (normal mana costs still apply). [License note: This addon uses modified versions of images by Lorc from Game-icons.net, pursuant to the Creative Commons CC-BY-3.0 license.] Multi Evolutions Fork 1.7.4Allows Adventurer to take any class evolution prodigy and adds an option that allows any class to take multiple evolutions. Do not use with another version of the same addon, they are not compatible with eachother. Traps in Other Campaigns 1.7.0Makes various special traps that can be obtained by discovery in the main Age of Ascendancy campaign also available in other campaigns. Currently supported:
As in the main campaign, traps will only be made available to characters that know the Cunning/Trapping talent category. Psionic Blade 1.7.2Campaign Uncapper 1.4.2Unlocks the max level for Campaign, scaling all dungeons and bosses accordingly. To be precise, this makes all dungeons in the game scale based on YOUR level, instead of a pre-set value. (Note that bosses still have a minimum level. The Master for example will always be in the 20's at the minimum.) Movarc'h's Improved Escorts - Bamboo Edition 1.7.4Improvements to the escort system. Adds a bunch of new types of escorts, and increases the power and number of options for existing escorts. Additionally learning new categories unlocks them by default, or can improve your mastery if you already know them. This is a fork of Movarc'h's Impoved Escorts by mannendake. Expanded Shop Inventory 1.7.4Significantly increases the number of items available for purchase in all shops, and allows some higher-quality items. Rage Mage class 1.7.0Adds the Rage Mage class. The Rage Mage is an arcane/temporal caster that, when injured, gets too mad to cast and starts punching things. Patrol Gold 1.7.6--- DESCRIPTION --- This addon makes enemies in the world map patrol drop a fair amount of gold. Every enemy generated via a world map ambush will drop ten instances of gold, averaging around one gold per instance. If used with the Spells Merchants addon by Akaviriblade, it adds a way to "grind" the patrols for gold so you can buy stat points and whatnot. It should work with every mod, but please let me know if you get a compatibility error! :) --- INSTALLATION --- 1) Download the file 2) Move it inside /(Your Game Directory)/game/addons 3) Launch Tales of Maj'Eyal 4) On the main menu select "Addons" 5) Find "Patrol Gold" and ensure it's active --- COMPATIBILITY --- Not compatible with mods that change data/general/npcs/humanoid_random_boss.lua Updated to work for 1.7.6 Bear Race 1.7.6Mod that allows you to play as an adventurer who somehow ended up with humanlike intelligence, but the body of a bear. Bears are an unusual adventurer species. They are unable to use most equipment (hat, lite, amulet, cape and tool only), but are very strong, fast and tough and have a rather powerful racial talent tree. Racial talents There are also 3 race evolution prodigies, with more to come if I have any good ideas. Suggestions welcome. Bloodriver Adherent Class 1.7.6Adds some Mage subclasses. Currently, adds the following classes: Bloodriver Adherent --- Bloodriver Adherents are very in tune with arcane energies, their mana will buffer any harm done to them. It also makes them know basic elemental spells innately. Bloodriver Adherent talents revolves mainly on their bleed mechanics. A lot of talents costs both mana and life to cast. There are around 11 custom made talent category which you can choose. Some are essential to Bloodriver Adherent, as this subclass try to utilize bleed as much as possible. There are currently 9 variation of totems. 5 which you will learn by default, and the remaining 4 you will learn by: This subclass is a bit tricky to play and on the harder side of difficulty-wise. Also beware, some of the talents are very powerful, but makes no distinguishing between friend or foe, so you may harm your allies, or even yourself! --- Bloodriver Staffmasters do not attune so much to arcane energies compared to Adherents. Instead, they hone themselves to gain martial prowess. While they don't have easy access to basic element trees compared to Adherents, they have their own unique talents with stronger emphasis on bleed. --- If you are starting as humans, halflings, elves, or ogres, there is a small quest given at birth, you can do the quest and get some reward for it. There are also some lore fragments scattered regarding The Bloodrivers. Please enjoy your time as One of The Bloodrivers! Best regards, Shad3. Umbral Incantor Evolution for Shadowblade 1.7.6Adds a new evolution for Shadowblades, the Umbral Incantor. As an Umbral Incantor, the Shadowblade will regenerate 1 mana per turn and gain several bonuses to their talents if they are equipped with a staff: - Shadow Combat: the damage will also be triggered when you cast Channel Staff, and when triggered this way can be a spell critical Werewolves of Maj'Eyal 1.7.6Adds 5 werewolf races to the game! Copying and pasting the gist of the racial details from the forum post into here for easy visibility. Fullmoon Gibbous Halfmoon Crescent Newmoon New Gem Types 1.5.10Adds several new gem types and attempts to fill in some gaps in Tiered gem colors; also adds the Crystal race. This is a continuation of jayseesee's original addon. It's my hope that the gems in this release are balanced, consistent across tiers, and useful to a variety of different characters. Also hopefully all the Crystal's balance issues have been worked out: it should be an interesting tactical challenge to make best use of its unique mobility, find the right time to exploit its Runic Saturation status clear Stasis talent, and optimal self-imbued gemstone for each dungeon. As always, please let me know if you find any issues in terms of bugs, game mechanics, or interface! Mr Frog VFX Pack 1.7.0Replaces a number of visual effects with (hopefully) nicer versions. Shader support recommended. Overwrites some talent code in a minimally-invasive manner. ZOmnibus Addon Pack 1.7.4Combines several smaller utility addons, both for convenience and potentially reduced resource usage on smaller machines. Includes the following addons:
A superset of ZOmnibus Lite. Frequently Asked Questions:

Fortress Butler Custom Tile 1.7.0Modifies the chat dialog for the Fortress Shadow in the Sher'tul fortress, in particular the dialog stage for changing the Fortress Shadow's appearance, adding the option to choose any of the custom tiles available from the character creation dialog. Also papers over a bug in the existing male/female choices, so that the Fortress Shadow will continue to appear properly in the chat dialog with its appearance altered. NOTE: This class requires access to donator tiles, and thus requires the player to have donator status (including via purchasing the game through Steam). Frequently Asked Questions: Barbarian Evolution for Berserker 1.7.6Adds a new class evolution for Berserker, the Barbarian. As a Barbarian, the Berserker loses the ability to equip body armor, but gains the ability to wield a two-handed weapon in their off-hand. Additionally, they will unlock Technique/Duelist and Technique/Dual Weapons at 1.0 mastery. Finally, each turn the Barbian attacks a foe, they will automatically eneter a blocking stance to deflect damage with their weapons, potentially setting up deadly counter-strikes. Fortune Talent Tree 1.7.0Small mod that adds a talent tree for the gunslinger class inspired by Miss Fortune Recaiden's Undead Racepack 1.7.0This is a compilation of my undead race addons. This will always be the most up-to-date version. Mummy Wight And adds a new prodigy for any undead: Dreadmaster Chinese translation by gooder1029 Infected 1.7.6I finally updated this mod :D It's been completely rebalanced and contains a ton of new stuff! You are not ill; you are a weapon. A host to a menagerie of plagues, your body is a battleground you have learned to command. Every joint aches with power, every fever fuels your spells. You wade into battle, letting your infections flare and spread, hammering foes with disease-charged blows or scouring them with projected corruption. You are the source of the outbreak, and your resilience is the only thing holding the chaos within you at bay—because every plague you unleash gnaws at your own life just as eagerly as your enemies. Mechanics: • Spread Blight: Spread up to 6 unique Infections, ravage your enemies with the now-actually-useful Poison Storm, and watch them die to your limitlessly stacking Decay. Balancing Thanks to: Water Purification 1.7.0Fixes a bug in the Lost Knowledge quest, restoring the intended effect that the poison water in the Valley of the Moon will be purified to regular water when the quest is successfully completed. Also available as part of the Bugnibus Bugfix Pack. [NOTE: We anticipate that the relevant bug will be fixed in a future game release, at which time this addon will be officially deprecated.] Buffs Display Wrap 1.7.0Modifies the buffs display in the Minimalist UI, arranging for the vertical stack of beneficial or detrimental effect indicators to wrap to the next column if it would otherwise overlap the main toolbar or the hotkeys toolbar. Also available as part of the Bugnibus Bugfix Pack. Show Second Weapon Set 1.7.0Modifies the equipment/inventory dialog to optionally include equipment frames for the second weapon set, controlled by game option "UI | Show second weapon set in equipment dialog". Equipment can be wielded directly to the second weapon set by dragging it from the inventory list. Also optionally lists wielded equipment in the second weapon set in the "Equipment" section of the character's online character sheet, controlled by game option "Online | Show second weapon set in character sheet". Activatable Object Cleanup 1.7.0Prevents and cleans up orphaned "activate-object" talents for objects activatable from inventory that you transmogrified from the transmogrification chest. Encouraged for players who use the Utility Supplies addon. Also available as part of the Bugnibus Bugfix Pack. The Black Bikini 1.7.0Adds new artifact The Black Bikini (automatically changed to The Black Mankini for male characters) with stats identical to Black Robe and appearing at roughly the same depths. In addition, if the Ashes of Urh'Rok DLC is active, both Black Robe and The Black Bikini will be modified to be Obsidian Treasures (like the Black Ring and the Black Core), granting additional defense proportional to the player's total Shadow Power. Frequently Asked Questions: Resourceful Wanderers 1.7.6Help Wanderers make use of trees which are otherwise hard or impossible to use due to:
Any time a category or tree is learned which is dependant on something specific that you don't already have, one or multiple 'Wanderer' trees will be granted locked as well. These trees are usually at x0.8 mastery, and can have less or more than 4 talents, learnable out-of-order. Wanderer trees can be removed under certain conditions, and this will fully refund category and talent points. The exact conditions are detailed in each tree's description. Every Wanderer now knows the Shoot talent from the get-go, and starts with iron mail armour in addition to everything else. fix galen's robe with clones 1.7.6In version 1.7.6 , if you use galen's flowing robe and you summon your clones (ex. Temporal Warden) with certain talents(ex. Temporal hounds), you may encounter bug reports. This addons tries to fix this issue. Class: Hunted 1.7.6A stealthy Cursed class that uses unarmed attacks. Inspired by HousePet's Werebeast from the Verdant Class Pack. First and foremost, thank you to everyone in the Tales of Maj'Eyal Discord for all the coding help! --- Class Talents --- Cursed / Prowl (WIL) Cursed / Gore (WIL, Locked) Cursed / Endless hunt --- Generic Talents --- Technique / Combat training Deathknight 1.7.4Adds the Deathknight class. See forum thread for details. Eoland's Vampire Race 1.7.4This is my own spin on a vampire race. It has some large benefits but also some very strong drawbacks. Inferno Race Pack 1.7.0Adds a collection of my races. Hiveminder Class 1.7.0Adds Hiveminders, an insect-themed wilder class, as a birth option. Hiveminders are a melee class specialising in dual-wielded daggers or psiblades. They command their vast hivemind to lend them potent support and utility powers which make up for their lacking offense. Hiveminder talent trees include: Hivemind: Resonate your mind with your insects to enhance your perception and enthrall enemies! Hiveminders also have access to the Combat Training, Lethality, Call of the Wild, and Mindstar Mastery generic trees by default, and can additionally unlock the Fungus and Mobility trees through levelling up. Power is a subtle thing, adventurer. The smallest of factors can make the greatest of differences. Playable Shertul Race 1.7.4Playable shertul race forked. Original content by Isaacssv552. Future updates intended but heavily limited by my own skill. Sher'tul are powerful magically inclined creatures that cannot use certain items like gloves due to them having tentacles, their incredible potential makes up for this. Virtual Image Reload 1.7.0An experimental addon that attempts to fix the display images of objects and actors from server-push events like Santascape and the Hallowed Fields, which sometimes do not install their "virtual" images early enough for the map display and end up displaying as character tiles. Also available as part of the Bugnibus Bugfix Pack. Frequently Asked Questions: Steel Monk Evolution for Brawler (Cider Fork) 1.7.0(This is a fork that adds projectile deflection to Greatest Weapon Focus and shortens cooldown a bit. Credit for the original addon of course goes to RootOfAllThings. Link to original addon: https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/steel-monk ) Adds a new class evolution for Brawler, the Steel Monk. As a Steel Monk, the Brawler can wield a weapon in their hands while still making unarmed attacks. While wielding a weapon, they can gain Greatest Weapon Focus, causing them to follow up their unarmed attacks with weapon attacks and parrying the attacks of their enemies. Taking this prodigy will refund any points in Weapon Mastery, then grant you Weapon Mastery based on your Unarmed Mastery. Sholtar - Cider's fork 1.5.5Adds the Sholtar as a playable Human subrace. Sholtar have no racial talents of their own; instead, the four slots can be used to learn talents from defeated enemies (of a high enough rank). In this manner, the Sholtar can improve nearly any class by adding abilities from other calsses, or even talents that are normally exclusive to NPCs. Sholtar are not quite as powerful as other humans, recieving -3 points to all stats and a life rating of 8. They are exceptionally thorough in their studying and gain an extra generic and class talent point every 6 levels. This thoroughness, unfortunately, also leads to a 50% experience penalty. Original by nsrr and keevan, forked and nerfed into oblivion by mannendake, with adjustments for insane since monsters sometimes have dozens of levels in a talent. Forked and unnerfed a bit by Ciderdown so it could be used in lower difficulties where the exp penalty hurts so much more. In exchange for a lower exp penalty, a confusion resist penalty has been added. Forked for my personal use. Credit for the work on this addon and modifications to it goes to those before me. --- The Sholtar were once a great nation, with many vasts cities in the southeastern regions of Maj'Eyal. In spite of the harsh, dry terrain they inhabited, or perhaps because of it, they were a people of great ingenuity and adaptability. Melinda on the Map - Bamboo Edition 1.7.0Places the Sect of Kryl-Feijan event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter. This fork marks the sect as encountered so it works with improved recall. Adventuring Party 1.7.4Tired of being alone on your adventures? Tired of being an archmage with no one to give that unique battleaxe to? Tired of having no one to use your healing spells on? Tire no more, for now you can create fully controllable additional party members to join you on your adventures, each as capable as your leader. Included is a sustainable talent to control each party member as their turn comes up to allow fully tactical combat when things get rough. -Grants the ability to add any number of additional members to your party each with their own race and class, allowing you to take on higher difficulties. -!Due to how alchemists are designed, you will not be able to take direct control of their golems if the alchemist is not your main character, but should still function correctly elsewise. For a list of changes, please see the change notes on steam or by reading the int.lua file included in each downloadable version. Light From Below 1.7.6Below Eyal, something is calling. Deep in the tunnels, past the dwarven fortress of Iron Gate, you have stumbled upon a Light... This addon adds a new campaign set in the depths below the Iron Throne, during an unknown time period. Shimmer Pack: Pyromania 1.6.0Cosmetic pack! Nargol 1.7.4Adds the Nargol as a playable Halfling subrace. Studious to a fault, yet racist to the core, the Nargol empire once dominated Maj'Eyal. Though their superiority complex has been much humbled by the Age of Pyre, their brilliant inquisitive minds have not. Nargol may take any combination of any four talents in their race tree, with more talents being unlocked later. 1. Concentrate: select a non-instant, non-fixed-cooldown talent. That talent will always be cast at effective level 4, but its cooldown will increase proportionally with how many levels this talent is effectively adding. If your selected talent has an effective level over 4, its cooldown will be reduced instead. 1. Space Out: each talent cast will increase your negative life slightly. 2. Recompose: select an activated talent that has a cooldown. If you are affected by any non-other debuffs, using that talent will reduce the duration of each by a percent of that talent's cooldown, spread out across all debuffs affecting you and with a minimum of 1. 3. Practice: select an activated talent with less than 10 turns of cooldown that does not change the world in a permanent way and does not have a fixed cooldown. Each time you kill a creature that is worth experience, the raw level and mastery of this talent will increase to a cap. 4. Hyperfixate: instant sustain. Each turn your talent cooldowns are halved at the cost of burning away your life. In addition, they have a secondary "Imperialist" tree unlocked by wearing the Crown of Command, then unlocking it with a category point: Sidekick Level Catch-up 1.6.0Modifies various player sidekicks (Alchemists' golem, Writhing Ones' worm that walks from the Forbidden Cults DLC, Annihilators' mecharachnid from the Embers of Rage DLC) to synchronize their level with the player's level every time they are re-added to map, in case the player gained a level while the sidekick dead. (Disclaimer: The failure of sidekicks to do this in the base game is believed to be a bug; if said bug is fixed in a future version, this addon will be officially deprecated.) Faetouched Collection 1.7.0In the realm of Titania, the Midsummer Queen, there live the Faeries, mystical beings as graceful as they are fickle. Drama and mayhem spring forth wherever they walk, and those whose lives they touch are forever changed, their fates intertwined with that of the mysterious Faesong. Luminously-beautiful and deadly, those who learn to ride its mercurial ebbs and flows shall wield power far beyond mortal magic. New paths opened by the Fae currently include: Charmed (class): Ordinary creatures drawn haplessly into the faeries' mischief. Adapt to their capricious will and unleash havoc upon the battlefield in a chaotic flash of mist-woven steel! Wood Sprite (race): Eyal-born faeries of wood and wind, mischievous and mobile. Unburdened by heavy armour, fly circles around your witless adversaries before sending them peacefully to their graves in a gentle Midsummer Dream! Moonchild (class): Unfortunate souls infused with the faeries' magic from birth, bent by its will as they bend it to theirs. Shattered between Spring's slothful light and Autumn's merciless chill, find peace within your broken halves to dominate any who oppose you with peerlessly destructive and illusive magic! Fetch (race): Wretched imitations of mortals created by and for the faeries' fancy, forever yearning to be whole. Shatter your body and soul to shift your identity and avoid danger, and mimic the talents of others to make yourself at last complete! Additionally includes a new starting scenario with original art, music, and dialogue, 7 new artifacts, 6 new enemy mobs, and an unlockable Fae-Drake category for Wyrmic. The realm of the Fae is ever-changing, and new paths may yet open in the future! Look not with your eyes, adventurer. The beauty you see hides terror beyond reckoning. Font of Sacrifice to the Rescue 1.7.0Makes the Font of Sacrifice from the Forbidden Cults DLC (required) available as a reward for rescuing the lost merchant. Infinite Mastery 1.7.4Increases the mastery value increase to 0.4, and removes the 1 increase limit. Originally made by jojolagger, I only bumped up addon weight so it can work with my addon collection with online profile on. Knight Evolution for Bulwark-Proofread version 1.7.4Adds a new class evolution for Bulwark, the Knight. - Lance Charge: Charge toward target location and gain speed buff. Damage increases with movement speed. - Knight's vow: Passively increases defensive stats and regenerate stamina on blocking. - Tactical retreat: Retreat and gain movement speed - Hammer and Anvil: Knock back the target, dealing massive damage if the target collides with a wall. Damage increases with movement speed. Knight Training Category - Grand strategy: Gain wild speed on active. - Tower of steel: Gain pin resist and physical damage increase if you wear heavy armor. - Well fitted: Gain defensive stats if you wear heavy armor. - Chivalry: More damage on counterstrike. Original author is koa. Talent descriptions proofread by me. Also cancels the stun and damage on spirit horse being disabled. Even though it's fitting, it's way too debilitating (50% health loss and 5 turn stun) Q.U.I.C.K. Campaign 1.7.6Operation Q.U.I.C.K.: Quickly Untying "Inconvenient" Chronological Knots Adds a fast play campaign with a Point Zero themed quest line that sends the player to a series of dungeon-portions from the standard AoA campaign. Players will adventure through ~8 shortened zones, starting with teir 1 dungeons and progressing all the way through to the finale at High Peak. The campaign is broken into 8 segments, with a reward before each. These bonuses largely offer rewards that could be gained from optional quests in AoA. You will also have a chance to shop after each segment, and this version of Point Zero has greatly expanded and improved shopping opportunities. There is also an NPC that can create randarts with one ego of your choice, for a price. See the forum thread for more details: https://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=55067 Mannendake's Improved Auto-explore and Rest 1.7.2Quality of Life improvements for resting and auto-exploring. This is a fork of a fork of Marson's auto-explore and rest tweaks, forked by Dracos and then again by mannendake. This version fixes opening doors taking a turn and returns the fixedart icons to their respective lore entries. v3.5.1 *** FOR ToME v1.7.2 *** It is recommended to turn off Marson's Rest and Auto-Explore as well as C.Lowe's Rest Tweaks if using. This addon is meant to include all of them. This mod provides several options to control it. These may be found by opening the Game Menu->Game Options->Gameplay menu. Feel free to customize to preference with the defaults meant to be free of questionable behavior. Latest Update Notes: Existing Features: Determines how auto-explore and running respond to telepathy, including mouse moves. Regardless of the setting, hostiles seen via telepathy will not halt resting or the Rod of Recall, nor trigger automated talents. Unique or powerful monsters (rank > 3) will always trigger a halt to running when they are spotted via telepathy for any mode except 'Original'. Available modes: • 'Always Viligant' always stops running when a hostile creature is seen via telepathy. • 'Original' is standard ToME auto-explore behavior, which ignores telepathy when running or auto-exploring. • Compatible with ToME v1.6.0 Notes: • Telepathy will not prevent auto-exploring the way normal sight will. If a halt is triggered by telepathy, hitting auto-explore again will move you at least one more square in the direction of the auto-explore path. If in 'Always Viligant' mode and a hostile is within telepathic sight (but not normal sight), you will auto-explore in 1 square per keypress increments. Abomination Race - Bamboo Edition 1.4.9Adds the undead abomination race. This edition changes the global speed penalty to a heftier movement speed penalty, and fixes crashes from yank out talents. Fortress Font of Sacrifice 1.7.4Adds an option to add the font of sacrifice to the Sher'tul fortress. Possessor Bonus Class 1.7.4Donators/Buyers bonus! Skirmisher Evolutions 1.7.4Adds the following evolutions: Mudsligner: Fateslinger: Fearslinger: Blightslinger: Crystalslinger: Battle Skirmisher: Sunslinger: Dreamslinger: Note: Age of Ascendancy specific requirements are waived in other campaigns. Living Eyal 1.7.6Places unplayable staring dugeons on map. Allowing all 4 extra dungeons. Unlocking Yeek island. |Places all extra cities on map, and adds extra dungeons and cities like heroes rest (trainer city). Also reacts to Ooze mod, undead racepack and faetouched collection. Proper Possession 1.7.0
Frequently Asked Questions: Embers of Rage 1.7.4Official Expansion! One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor. The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal. The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged... but one Pride remains. Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom. The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal. Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes. Features:
Utility Supplies 1.7.0Adds useful items to the game. Currently supported:
[NOTE: Due to a game bug involving the transmogrification chest and activatable objects, we recommend that users of this addon also use the Activatable Object Cleanup addon.] Rise of the Ooze 1.7.4Adds Oozewalkers, antimagic powered undead who are incapable of using infusions but gain powerful racial talents. They also begin in a new starting town (shared with Oozemancers). Full Details: Reward from Storming the City with the Oozing Cradle: Race: Tinkerer 1.7.5Adds Tinkerer as a new Human subrace. Tinkerers are identical to Cornacs, except they begin with Steamtech/Physics and Steamtech/Chemistry instead of an additional category point. I made this race because I wanted a consistent way to obtain tinkers with any non-tinker class, without relying on the tinker escort. The Tinkerer is intended to be a balanced and viable alternative to the Cornac race within the official "Maj'Eyal: The Age of Ascendancy" campaign. When used with a tinker class, this race only grants an additional starting talent point to both Physics/Smith and to Chemistry/Therapeutics. Feel free to extend/modify this addon as you wish! My further ideas for this race or a similar one would be to add the Engineering and Blacksmith categories as racial talent trees, but adjust their mastery and unlock status based on whether the character is a tinker class or not. ---Changelog--- Return of the Gunsnake 1.7.0Creatures without hands are allowed to be tinker classes again. Expect not just gunsnakes, but gunbears, gunjellies, sawcrystals, ivyannihilators, and more. You will regret using this addon. Interact with Sidekicks 1.7.0Provides an interface to interact with party members similar to the Interact with the Golem talent, by which yo ucan alter their equipment or spend their talent points. Also adds additional functionality like applying a rune or infusion directly to a party member, or managing its talent point plan in conjunction with the Talent Point Planner addon. Standard actions from the "Give order" dialog can also optionally be included, controlled by game option "Gameplay | Include party orders in interaction dialogs". The interaction dialog is bound to Alt-Shift-I by default, and can also be accessed by right-clicking on a suitable party member on the map or via the "Interact with Party Members" action on the main game menu. (NOTE: If you are using this addon in conjunction with the Talent Point Planner addon, you will need to upgrade the latter to release 10.8.3 or higher for compatibility. Similarly, if you are using this addon with the ZOmnibus Addon Pack or ZOmnibus Lite, you will need to upgrade it to release 17.2.3 or higher for compatibility.) Visibly Distinct Shadow Crypt 1.7.0Changes the appearance of the entrance to the Shadow Crypt in the far east to be different from the entrances to the Orc Prides, to avoid entering the wrong zone by mistake. Juggernaut Evolution for Bulwark 1.6.7Adds a new class evolution for Bulwark, the Juggernaut. As a Juggernaut, the Bulwark gains the ability to equip shields in the off hand and main hand simultaneously and Weapons Mastery will apply to shields. While equipped with two shields: - You may use Rush while sustaining Last Stand. Class: Spellweaver 1.7.6Adds the Spellweaver, a Mage subclass who creates custom spells with Spellweaving components. Draconians 1.7.2Adds Draconians as playable race. This version of the addon is tweaked to allow Defiler classes. This fork removes the brakes on the original addon by allowing enemies to get all non-customer classes from this addon, and marks some of the most egregiously broken (on enemies) talents as enemy-unusable. Each class should now be a challenge to work around on enemies, rather than being literally unkillable (notably primitive and discordant). ----------- Original from VectorinoxDescriptionsAdd Discordant as playable psionic subclass. A psionic tank with death radius around them (think of Mindrot, but less sucky). Wins battle through attrition, melts trash mobs just by standing. Can also spam tele-frags if you feel like it. Add Kudzu as playable wilder subclass. Invasive, annoying, and hard to get rid of. Master of crowd controls and area denials. Cover the world with fungus, lichens, moss, and kudzus. Add Scorpion as playable rogue subclass. Stealthy brawler with poison fist. Pull in your enemy and dethrone them with chain of combos. Add Critic as playable afflicted subclass. High-risk, high-reward, critical-centric class that use feedback pool as life. Overpower your enemy with overwhelming amount of Gestures, or die from receiving too much criticism. Add Colossus as playable race. Artificial giant constructed by dwarves, has the same start location as dwarf. Durable race with some drawbacks. Also like gold. This is a practice addon intended for personal use, but thank you if you decided to check it out anyway. Bonus class: Primitive, master of bump-attack *joke class* ------------- [ Creditshttp://game-icons.net/ Changelog1.0.0:- Initial release Ascendancy Level Cap Remover 1.7.6--- DESCRIPTION --- This addon removes the level 50 cap from the game (Age of Ascendancy main campaign and arena mode). I'm unsure if it works with DLC (I don't have the DLCs ;-; ). Enjoy :) P.S: This is a simpler version of "Campaign Uncapper" by Starkeep. Instead of scaling every dungeon to your level, this one only removes the level cap. Consider checking that addon out! --- INSTALLATION --- 1) Download the file 2) Move it inside /(Your Game Directory)/game/addons 3) Launch Tales of Maj'Eyal 4) On the main menu, select "Addons" 5) Find "Ascendancy Level Cap Remover" and ensure it's active --- COMPATIBILITY --- It is not compatible with mods that change data/birth/descriptors.lua (It should be compatible with most mods; it is unknown if it works with the ones that add new campaigns) Updated to work for 1.7.6 Parasite Tweak 1.7.6Tweaks the Parasite resurrection to modify the current player doll (equip slot loadout) instead of switching to a fixed doll, making it play nicer with other doll modifications (such as from the excellent Weaver class addon). Ashes of Urh'Rok 1.7.4Official Expansion! Many in Maj'Eyal have heard of "demons", sadistic creatures who appear seemingly from nowhere, leaving a trail of suffering and destruction whereever they go. Their Fearscape floats far above the skies, watching and waiting, but not idly; their agents scout the land, their legions build up their forces, and their scholars develop new spells and strategies. As the barrier between our worlds begins to crack under their scrutiny, helpless Eyalites have begun to disappear, whisked up to serve as their slaves and playthings. They imbue these victims with magical powers to better survive the ensuing stresses - can you use your new-found abilities to escape the legions of Mal'Rok?
