Modifies the Ancient Automatated Teacher from the Embers of Rage DLC (required), adding options for the player to purchase the Steamtech/Blacksmith and Steamtech/Engineering talent trees. A companion piece to Tinker Cave for Everyone; they can be used together or separately.

This addon is yet another OP human subrace, it features strong fire and light based racial talents, extra quests, dungeons, and items that give more character building points.

The difference between this addon and the one uploaded by speeder is the racial passive on speeder's was set to reduce life reduction each talent point instead of the advertised fire damage, I removed the life regeneration reduction and re-enabled the fire damage.

I did this because this race would have amazing synergy with The Shining One demented class and I wanted to do a playthrough like that.

Adds the forge-giant item crafting system from Hammer of Urh'Rok to Age of Ascendancy.

Fixes an error caused by this mod when trying to curse items. Line 342 of AlterTalents.lua changed to "self:incIncStat(self.STAT_WIL, -2)" Does not require the Original More Taints, but will remove if asked. Original by HousePet, forked by grayaegis to fix curse errors, forked again by mannendake due to taints not actually generating and making descriptions/races more compatible.

Various enhancements to escort quest NPCs:
- Escorts now follow the player when not close to the portal.
- Escorts occasionally say useful things.
- Escorts heal 5% of their maximum health per turn.

Adds two races, one class, a new town, and a new low level dungeon. Completing a quest to explore the new dungeon unlocks purchasable perks in the town. This quest is the starting quest for the added races, but anyone can access an alternate version of the quest with the same rewards. Look toward the coast east of Last Hope to get started.

Available perks (cost varies):
Reveal Exotic Weapons Mastery (must already know Combat Training; Combat Training can also be purchased as per Last Hope shops).

Gain the ability to invest in Heavy Armour Training and equip mail(heavy) armor by meeting the requirement with the highest of Constitution and Dexterity (or Strength, as usual).

Gain bonus attack and movement speeds and a chance to evade incoming damage while wearing mail(heavy) armor. These values scale with Dex and Con, respectively.

Learn (locked or unlocked) a new Psionic/Mindstar combat talent tree. Similar to Wild-Gift/Mindstar mastery, this tree also has a Psiblades sustain. Once learned, you can also pay to boost mastery (as with Mindstar mastery from Zigur).

Psionic/Mindstar combat:

Psiblades:
Increases damage and physical power when attacking with Mindstars. When sustained, increases the damage modifiers and mind stats granted by equipped mindstars (this is an exact copy of the wild-gift/mindstar mastery psiblades talent).

Mind Thorns:
Instantly touch the mind of an adjacent foe, creating mental thorns which reduce mind save and deal mind damage each turn for a few turns.

Mind Storm:
Create a storm of psionic energy which lasts for a few turns. The storm will overheat the mind of foes in the area, causing them to burn (stacking). Allies in the area will be obscured by illusions, reducing the bonus damage of critical hits dealt to them.

Psionic Balance:
Attack an adjacent enemy with your mainhand Psiblade and channel the energy through your offhand to create a psionic damage shield around an ally or yourself. The power of the shield is based on the damage of the attack and can be a mental critical. The shielded target will also regain an amount of Psi based on the damage of the attack.

Races:

The Naloren are elven race with an affinity for water who are adept with mail armor, whips and tridents. They are also known for their bountiful spirit and superb flexibility.
Talents:

Spirit of the Tides:
Gain X charges of Surging Spirit for 5 turns. Charges will be consumed as you activate talents to reduce their cooldown by one turn per charge.

Spirited Combat:
Gain X% armor hardiness in all types of armor and a Y% Constitution damage modifier for all weapons.

Cleansing Water:
When you are afflicted with a detrimental effect you have a X% chance to create a 1-tile pool of Cleansing Water within 2 tiles of yourself. Moving into Cleansing Water will consume it to cleanse the detrimental effect with the highest duration currently afflicting you. This has a cooldown (3).

Whitewater:
Call on the surging tides to aid you, creating radius X pool of rushing water lasting for 6 turns. Moving within Whitewater is instant for you. Foes will have a 50% chance with each movement within Whitewater to flounder, draining 50% of a turn and leaving them Dazed for 1 turn.

Stats:

+ 4 Con, +4 Dex, -1 Cun, -1 Str, -1 Mag, +10 life rating, 10% increased global speed, 15% xp penalty.

The Freeks are a tribe of Yeeks who broke free from The Way. They are still strong psionics, but their minds have been irreparably shattered.
Talents:

Unbound Mind:
Remove up to X silence and confusion effects from yourself and increase your silence and confusion immunities by 100% for a few turns. When activated, all foes in range 8 are afflicted with Shattered Mind for the same duration, giving them a chance each turn to become dazed or confused(35%) for 2 turns.

Partition:
Increases resistance to all damage and decreases the duration of negative effects.

Hasty:
Gain a passive mind speed bonus. If you are afflicted by 4 or more negative effects, the passive speed bonus will temporarily be doubled and any actions (attacks, spells, movement, etc) will use your mind speed if it is faster than the usual speed.

Schism:
Create up to 3 illusions of yourself adjacent to foes within range 10 that will taunt enemies for a few turns.

Stats:
-2 Con, +0 Dex, +3 Cun, +0 Str, +1 Mag, +3 Wil, +9 life rating, -10% xp 'penalty', -15% confusion immunity.

Target a foe and disrupt their next talent with a blast of physical damage. At level 3+ adds confuses. At 5+ has a passive chance to block damage over a threshold, blast the source, and disrupt the source talent.

Puncture:
Deal physical damage with added bleeding damage. At level 3+ has a chance to disrupt temporary buffs on the target. Direct damage bypasses ice blocks.

Psionic Striking

Kinetic Blast:

 Deal physical damage and pin. Frozen targets take extra damage and both hits bypass the ice block.

Thermal Blast:
Deal fire damage and cold damage and freeze. If target is pinned, pull in nearby enemies and freeze them to the ground for a few turns.

Charged Blast:
Deal lightning damage and shock (reduce stun/pin resist by half). If target is pinned, boost Charge Shield value. If target is frozen, push nearby enemies away from you.

Psi Weaving:
Increased Fire, Cold and Lightning damage and res pen. Also applies to physical, but at half the value.

Altered Talents
Beyond the Flesh:
TK mindstars now project a blast of damage instead of pulling enemies. Chance, range and damage scale with mindstar tier (damage also scales on Mindpower). Active Aura damage is added to the blast at 2 times the usual power.

Quick as Thought:
Also increases mental crit chance.

Mindhook:
Can also target a wall to pull yourself.

Resonant Focus:
TK mindstars have increased chance to blast and also increase the radius of Voracity talents and the range non-melee mind powers.

Frenzied Focus:
TK mindstars attempt to blast all foes in range and Aura damage is added at 4 times the usual power.

Transcendent Telekinesis:
Resets Kinetic Blast, Telekinetic Crush and Puncture. Converts all damage to Physical while in effect. Kinetic Blast will also strike two random foes adjacent to the target.

Transcendent Electrokinesis:
Resets Charged Blast, Telekinetic Crush and Puncture. Converts all damage to Lightning while in effect. Charged Blast will also chain to 3 nearby enemies.

Static Net:
Static Charge is released with your next Telekinetic Crush or Charged Blast.

Transcendent Pyrokinesis:
Resets Thermal Blast, Telekinetic Crush and Puncture. Converts all damage to Fire or Cold (based on your increased damage) while in effect. Thermal Blast cold/freeze will hit in a radius 1 ball.

This is a fork of Better Item Descriptions that simply makes the tooltip larger and uses long phrases instead of abbreviations.
It also works with zOmnibus's Inscription Compare feature.

- all rarity categories are displayed

Adds an Artificer class to the game.
Artificer is a versatile class that specialize in items.
They are able to craft items and use them in ways that other classes cannot.

Beware: Although powerful later on, artificers have a weak early game, and require a good deal of item management to succeed. This class may not be for everyone.

Allows the player to pick two classes, but the difficulty scales upward. (Original by StarKeep, modded by Raenarill).
You advance twice as fast, and gain two thirds more talent points. You also gain six talent category points: at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60.
After level 66, you gain one class talent point per level and one generic every two out of three levels.

In order to activate this addon, look at your Game Options for a new tab.

This addon makes items description easier to read and determine on a glance it's usefulness
- sorts all stats by category - DPS/DEF/MISC
- item's passive power always the same blue color (not a random blue-yellow-pink-green)
- item's usable power - always yellow
- all rarity categories are displayed
- encumbrance value moved to the right under item name
- "on hit" powers always green
- "Stats" have an ornage highlight and placed before others because it's most important one
- Removed many extra-explain details, which any veteran player would not want to read each time
for example, stat "S.pwr/crit" shorten from "Spellpower on spell critical (stacks up to 3 times)"
means you do remember that it can stack only 3 times, and is not so super important anyway
- DLC supported - Orcs/Ashes
- few bug-fixes along the way

Most important thing to remember
- Requirements only shown for those you don't meet. If you want to see all reqs - hold CTRL
- "Phasing" stat means - "Damage Shield penetration", the name was taken from the source and looks good to me, and short enough
- The "-" minus sign at the end of stat mean immunity or reduction of some sort, for example "Blind-" = "Blindness immunity",
- "Max.summ" = Max wilder summons
- "Summ.HP.reg" = Life regen bonus (wilder-summons)
- "Def/telep" = Defense after a teleport
- "Res/telep" = Resist all after a teleport
- "Dur/telep" = New effects duration reduction after a teleport

it's not recommended to use this mod if you'r new to the game

Improvements to the escort system. Adds a bunch of new types of escorts, and increases the power and number of options for existing escorts. Additionally learning new categories unlocks them by default, or can improve your mastery if you already know them.

The staff shop in Angolwen now offers most class/generic skill trees for sale! prices range from 100 gold to 5,000 gold!

Aadd-on that expands on the available Egos and Semi-Random Artifacts available. Introduces all sorts of new Effects and Talents used with both! For example:

Spellslinger - A Passive that increases Spellpower per visible enemy in a range of 2 - Rolls on Hats

Nether Resonance - A Passive found on the Semi-Random Artifact 'Netheric Diadem' that increases Light resist by half of Magic stat and Nature resist by half of Willpower stat.

Combust - Found on 'Pyrophage' items, if you hit a burning enemy, cause an aoe of fire damage and gain a temporary life-regen buff.

Mystical Recovery - Found on shields, when blocking, 20% chance to lower the cooldown of a random spell-type talent based on item level.

All That Glitters - Activated talent found on Rings, gives you a temporary buff to Spellpower based on how much money you have.

This is only a small sampling of new additions among the 10 semi-random Artifacts and 100+ Egos. There are still many more of both to come and I will be posting a full breakdown of all the new components soon. At this time, many of the added Egos are Greater, so they will only appear on blue or purple items. Designed to be compatible with other addons, please report any possible collision issues.

Places the Sect of Kryl-Feijan event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter.

In general, this mod is for people (like me) who like to do everything in a game. Visit all the dungeons, kill all the bosses, preferably get all the artifacts. By allowing all characters to visit some more restricted dungeons, we can make that a little easier. This mod is not intended to be lore-friendly, but I may make a lore-friendlier version in the future. (As it stands you can visit Irkkk as a halfling and the Yeek don't care. I may change that.)

Current mod features:
All characters can visit the Iron Throne, its shops, and its two attendant dungeons.
All characters can travel through the tunnel in the Ancient Halfling Complex to reach the Island of Rel. There they can visit Irkkk and the two dungeons.
All characters will receive caldera at level 20, and sludgenest at level 30.
The maximum level of Rel's dungeons is raised to match Halfling Complex (to 25)
The maximum material level of Rel's dungeons is raised by 1 (from 2 to 3)

A variation on wyrmics, as a multi-elemental debuff-centered class.
Rather than having their abilities scattered among the elements, they'll rank up melee attacks, mental attacks, and elements separately.

The core of Wyrmic is:
Combat Techniques
Draconic Combat - provides weapon attacks.
Draconic Energy - provides mindpower attacks.
Draconic Body - provides mobility and survivability.

Then, a wyrmic picks one of the six natural elements: Fire, Ice, Lightning, Sand, Acid, or Poison. Each element has a single ability available right away, and a set of advanced skills that require a category point to access.
Finally, the advanced Prismatic Tree rewards you for changing elements.

Apex Predator - new generic tree that fills in a few gaps and lets you wear gems.

Howdy, this is Kamani.
Nekarcos made this incredible addon, but was inactive for quite a bit, only having recently returned (recently as of 5/29/2023). I just wanted to play on the most recent version of ToME when I played it, so this is just a port of OotS to ToME 1.7.4. I will NOT be adding new content, and all credit goes to Nekarcos, who actually made this. If you find any bugs, please report them to me.

Details:
This modifies the "Age of Ascendency" story, as you are no longer human, but rather, a natural, spiritual being. This means several conversations and services may become unavailable or even change to behave in new ways.

V1.0.1 is up, I wasn't paying attention when I did it through TOME so I just got rid of the old version. This version should hopefully add in the random escort quests for the three races, since they weren't defined before.

Places the Lost Merchant event on the map as a zone entrance rather than an undetectable encounter.  A companion piece to Melinda on the Map; they can be used together or separately.

Modifies the Font of Sacrifice from the Forbidden Cults DLC (required), giving it the extra ability to modify wild infusions in the player's inventory. Wild infusions that remove a single type of effect can be changed to another type for 500 gold, or have a second type added for 1000 gold; wild infusions that remove two types of effects can have one of them changed for 500 gold.

Adds the High Guard, a mage subclass. The High Guard is a melee fighter with mid-range spells who can wield any staff in one hand and favors shields in the offhand.
Primary stats are Magic and Strength. All talents are spells and use only mana. Attacks with both staff and shield, with nearly all attacks (save for bumps) dealing the damage type your staff is currently alinged to.

Adds a collection of my races.

Modifies the character creation dialog to bypass the lock check for races and classes, allowing characters to be created using locked races and classes. Doesn't actually unlock anything.

One year has passed since the one the Orcs call the "Scourge from the West" came and single-handedly crushed the Orc Prides of Grushnak, Vor, Gorbat, and Rak'Shor.  The Allied Kingdoms, now linked by farportal to their distant, long-lost Sunwall allies, have helped them conquer most of Var'Eyal.  The few remnants of the ravaged Prides are caged...  but one Pride remains.  Kruk Pride, isolated on an island, is the last orcish settlement that stands; they, too, face their impending doom.  The Sunwall has blockaded the only exit point from the island, and now, the technologically advanced civilization of Steam Giants have come down from the mountains to take their homeland with machines and weaponry unlike anything else on Eyal.  Kruk Pride has reverse-engineered their technology before; their only hope is to do it again and rise up against the Pride's foes.

This addon adjusts the way friendly NPC's react to hostile actions by the player.

In most cases, the personal reaction of an NPC to the player (friendly/neutral/hostile) will slowly recover (by 10% each turn, minimum 1 point) back to it's default value over time. If the player doesn't further aggravate the NPC, it will eventually become neutral/friendly again. (Though it will still probably have the player targeted, depending on its ai settings which are not addressed in this addon.) The exception is if the player kills another friendly NPC within LOS, which will result in the NPC becoming permanently hostile to the player in most cases.

Putting a detrimental status effect on the NPC will create a -25 (negative) reaction to the player (in addition to the penalties from any damage caused).

Files affected:
mod.class.NPC.lua (M:timedEffects, _M:onTakeHit, _M:die)

Allows you to choose which escorts you will encounter at the start of the game.
You may change the future encounters in the game menu (Esc).

There is an option to choose a random escort in case you just wanted to guarantee some unlocks before continuing with the base game's behavior.

Note: You're only supposed to be able to choose the lost tinker once. (Must have the Embers of Rage DLC and unlocked by playing in the Orcs campaign)
Note: Unfortunately the only time that addons can get the possible escort types is after the random escort quest is assigned.
This means escorts added by other addons will not be available for selection, but will still be possible to find using the random selection.

Alch revision description :

Buffs Alchemist talents and aims to reduce the irritation of the gem ammo management system, with some other quality of life changes. Idea is to make mana the limiting factor of alchemists,
rather than alchemist gems. Alchemist will become a mid ranged class with high burst and mana problems, but decent tankiness. Their golem can lock people into place for them to whale on,
and they have some other talents to help if someone does get into melee range (shortrange aoe stuns, ranged knockbacks, etc.). They are much better at dealing with armed attackers
than with spellcasters.

Overall :
-Gems no longer consumed by talents
-Throw bomb CD decreased to 2. At talent level 6, it goes to 1, and at talent level 7, it goes to 0.
-All infusions now have 4 CD to make them viable to switch between in combat
-Infusions give damage pen to their respective damage types in addition to their damage boost
-Alchemist talents no longer deal friendly fire
-Throw bomb and refit golem have higher mana costs (35, 6, 30)
-Refit golem takes 4 turns instead of 15 if golem is dead
-Throw bomb CD decreased to 2. At talent level 6, it goes to 1, and at talent level 7, it goes to 0.
-To make throw bomb's damage scaling smoother gems now give these bonusese to damage of throw bomb per tier :
t5 does +125% damage, t4 +112.5%, t3 +75%, t2 +37.5%)
-Gems such as diamonds which gave a +% modifier now have that added directly to their power :
So a diamond now increases bomb power by 150% exactly, and other tier 5 by +125% exactly.

Alchemist :
Willpower/Con bonuses swapped
Liferating changed from -1 to 0
Weapons Training known from start

Golem :
-Now has head slot.
Unfortunately, to remove a helm you have to equip another helm. I'm working on this.
-Golem gains a class talent point every other level instead of every 3
-Boosted weapon damage on pound
-Pound is now a melee ability
-Pound can now be used in melee range
-Knockback, Crush can now be used in melee range
-Golem gains 1 generic every 10th level and has access to combat training from the start. Note : points in golem power and
resilience automatically give points in these areas, though this is hidden in normal ToME.
-Increased golem life rating
-Higher combat-techique mastery.
-Slightly increase golem's base phys power and moderately increase base accuracy (it still can't hit most things in high peak).
-Golem now gets 3 stat points per level.

Explosion tree:
-Alchemist protection now only grants extra elemental damage resist, friendly fire is gone from alchemist talents by default.
-Alchemist Protection element resist% now scales with talent level and gives 1.25 mana regen per raw talent level.
-Explosion expert now grants up to 6 radius, and can grant 7 (and some more bonus damage) with an extra category point.

Shockwave bomb replaced with Contained explosion which is a bomb explosion compressed to a single tile. Range scales with talent level.
Damage is always at least 130% of throw bomb, and can scale up to 250%.
Skill has extremely high mana cost (100)
Note : This skill cannot crit.

Lightning:
Living Lightning has 15 CD and somewhat increased damage

Acid :
-Boosted max damage on caustic mire
-Boosted damage on Caustic Golem

Fire Alchemy:

-Body of fire deals MUCH more damage, but drains MUCH more mana, though its sustain cost is reduced to 75
-Now only targets 1 creature
-Body of Fire has 15 CD instead of 40
-Body of fire now grants fire affinity instead of resistance

Frost:
-Boosted max damage on Flash Freeze (250->320)
-Greatly increased max armor granted for Golem on Ice Armor
-Changed frost infusion to no longer freeze. Instead, it applies a 20% slow. This is to let cold be used as a more reliable damage source

Golemancy :
-Refit golem when golem is dead cast time reduced to 4 resting turn (requires player to be out of line of sight of enemies, meaning Smoke Bomb has a purpose)
-Golem is revived at 40% instead of 33% max hp

Advanced Golemancy:
Greatly increased runic golem regen rate

Staff Combat :
Tree reworked
Channel staff is now a built in attack that costs no talent points and deals 100% weapon damage with a +20% magic modifier.
New talent takes the second spot in the tree :
Desperate Blast - In desperate times, you can overload your channel staff with five times as much mana. This will increase the damage and cause the spell to knockback, but changes the damage to a physical type, and decreases the range.
Blunt thrust is the third item in the tree, and never misses from talent level 1.
Defensive posture is fourth in the tree.

New tree :
Jewelcraft
Gives arcane infusion for throw bomb and a valuable flat armor reduction spell based off gem power.

Stone Alchemy :
-Stone touch starts at range 3 and beams from talent level 1

"Jeweled Armor"
Use your gem to focus energy through mystical symbols on your body, creating ethereal jeweled armor. The resulting energies will protect you. Reduces all damage taken by %d for %d turns. Damage reduction scales with the quality of the wielded gem, and is equal to 1.5 times gem power.
"Gem Mastery"
Enable your gem armor to utilize the effects of gems. When damage is taken, beneficial effects of gem will occur on each instance of damage, up to %d times per turn. Beneficial effects are found on Spinel, Aquamarine, Garnet, and Bloodstone. Note : Garnet and Bloodstone have lower overall power than other gems of their tier. (The number of times the effect can occur per turn are equal to the raw talent level of gem mastery)
"Aether Embrace"
Your jewel armor synchronizes your with the aether existing around you, rather than merely your physical existence. Increases Arcane resistance by (Raw talent level*20) and Arcane resistance cap by (raw talent level * 3) while jeweled armor is active. Learning this talent exposes you to the void of space.

Channel staff is now a built in attack that costs no talent points and deals 100% weapon damage with a +20% magic modifier.

-Explosion Expert totally revamped (thanks to minmay for permission to use parts of his code) . It now will tell you how much extra damage is going to be dealt in the tooltip given while aiming the bomb.
-Explosion expert can now correctly grants 6 radius, and can grant 7 (and some more bonus damage) with an extra category point.

Shockwave bomb replaced with Contained explosion which functions exactly as throw bomb dealing a maximum amount of explosion expert damage to a single tile. Range scales with talent level. Skill has extremely high mana cost (100), but with a single point is almost certainly the most damaging skill in the game.

Lightning:
Living Lightning has 15 CD and somewhat increased damage

Acid :
-Boosted max damage on caustic mire
-Boosted damage on Caustic Golem

Fire Alchemy:

-Body of fire deals MUCH more damage, but drains MUCH more mana, though its sustain cost is reduced to 75

Tire no more, for now you can create fully controllable additional party members to join you on your adventures, each as capable as your leader. Included is a sustainable talent to control each party member as their turn comes up to allow fully tactical combat when things get rough.

-Grants the ability to add any number of additional members to your party each with their own race and class, allowing you to take on higher difficulties.
-Select race and class of the party members to be created by raising and lowering free talent levels in a new automatically unlocked talent category and then activate the spawner talent to create a new member.
-Mark characters you no longer want to be deleted on death by selecting them and using that same talent on a character created by it.
-Revive dead party members by channeling a talent for 100 turns.
-Gain full control over each member whenever it becomes their turn by activating a sustainable talent on any of your party members.
-Gold is effectively shared between each party member allowing each character to use stores and trainers as well as benefit from gold based talents.

This is a stand-alone Quality of Life pack that improves some minor things about ToME gameplay.
This pack improves visibility of status effects by adding particles to certain effect types (such as "dizzy stars" for stuns and confusions, or green bubbles for poisons).
Background: It is otherwise difficult to tell if or when certain effects procced or not, and it is also kind of obnoxious having to check each and every enemy for whether they're affected by something or not.

Setting these dividers to something greater than one can substantially reduce the amount of time required to finish resting/running on older computers.

My personal twist on and combination of "TLR's Stat changes" by thelastraven, "Moderately Generous Levels" by Chaotic Heretic, and "Constitution Viability Buff" by Raenarill.

This is my first ToME mod, so bear with me, I'm still working on balance and stuff, just give me constructive criticism please!

Leveling changes:
Sets max level to 100, though you still get the bonus points at 50. Birth stats remain unchanged.

+ 0.2% resist all per level after 50, so 10% should you reach level 100.

Level 2 is a "double" level, granting double the normal points (6 stat, 2 class/generic points)
Extra stat point every even level, starting at level 4.
Extra class point ever odd level, starting at level 3.
Gets rid of the extra class point and removal of a generic point at level intervals of 5.
One category point at levels 10, 15, 20, 25, 35, 50, 75, and 100. Removed point at 34.
Two prodigies at level 25, and then one at 50, 75, and 100. Removed prodigy at 42.

Constitution changes:
Max life per point increased from 4 to 5.
Added 0.04 life regen/turn per point.
Added 0.25% Heal Mod per point.
Added 1 Stamina per point.

This is my take on TLR's (thelastraven) stat changes mod.

Mainly I just wanted my own exact preferences registered on te4 to be honest.

I liked the overall concept, but felt some of the changes were too powerful even for some nightmare runs on mid classes.

This mod takes the basic shell of TLR's stat changes, then strips out some extra global bonuses to resists and nerfs some constition changes I felt went too far

This mod goes over particularly well with other overpowered fun addons, like the multi-class challenge.

There are also maybe some unlisted changes to what willpower does, looks like giving bonuses to mana/stamina/psi? I'm scared to touch that section so far.

The game will be a complete cakewalk at lower difficulties, be aware.

I just tweaked some values, all credit goes to TLR, Chaotic Heretic, and Raenarill.

Makes alchemists focus on creating elixirs that you are not currently helping them with.
In the base game, when you hand in ingredients to an alchemist, another alchemist completes one of his remaining elixirs at random.
What this addon does is remove the elixir that you are already helping them with from the possible elixirs to be chosen unless it is their last elixir.

This is a fork (with permission) of Marson's auto-explore and rest tweaks. It includes as well C.Lowe/CaptainTrip's improvements as well. It does not include, but recommends also using Johnny0's Faster RRE add-on for even better rest and auto-explore experience. This add-on contains numerous Quality of Life improvements designed to make resting and auto-exploring easier to use, brings the add-on overall up to being compatible with 1.6.x, and generally seeks to remove it being more optimal to do timed rests or manual recovery (particularly to help higher difficulty level and players without Faster RRE). Cleaned up feature list in this take, to make it easier to see what it does.

It is recommended to turn off Marson's Rest and Auto-Explore as well as C.Lowe's Rest Tweaks if using. This addon is meant to include all of them.

Latest Update Notes:
• Changed steam sustain behavior to match current gameplay. Before sustains tended to shut off when available resource was 0, now they don't seem to do so. This will now only turn off sustains that drain steam if steam is going below 0, so as to get to a steady finish state.
• Fix minor bug where stealth enabling was always on if you had it.
• Added new option to ignore quest members when resting or exploring. It defaults to off but for those folks that know they want to ignore those quest allies and rest a bit.

• When resting, it will check for infusions and runes that could be used to accelerate HP, Mana, or Equilibrium (via Ancestral Life or Meditation) recovery. If the acceleration appears significant, it will use them, rotating from first available infusion or rune outward. In experiment, I found this often reduced rest turn time by 50-80 percent, improving the more drained the resource was. Particularly helpful for Mana, as it avoids trade-off advantages of short term resting (for increased mana regen) + rune use by just handling that more optimal play for you automatically without breaking rest.
• Support for steam implants, with usual checkboxes. This may not always be faster based on steam sustains that may disable after the initial round of rest and steam implants having very long cooldowns (30+ turns) and steam's resource max being pretty small. It tries to be conservative on that, so will most likely help for cases where your functional steam regen rate is < 2.00 and never activate for things much above it. I found I was often getting 5-20 steam per turn, which makes the implant support useless.
• Supports for medical healing salve injectors. Cooldown measurements are a bit odd here, since they can range from 5-20 depending on injector. Went with 10 as a happy medium for how many turns of natural regen is considered to be equal to the cooldown cost of using it.
• Adding support to auto-stealth if available and not stealthed.
• Option for ignoring small damage when moving and resting, basically if it is <5%, it will ignore it by default, prevent small DoTs from preventing rest.
• Options added to control whether or not to use inscriptions to accelerate recovery of things.
• Fixes a ToME bug that can cause autoexplore or running to move only a single square and hang if used immediately after killing an enemy.
• Lore discovery will only stop autoexplore if it triggers a popup.
• Autoexplore will ignore Exploratory/Infinite Farportal return portals until the entire level has been explored.
• Ignores special terrain features such as Font of Healing after they are first discovered.
• Ignores open chests and alt Maze floor cracks.
• Rest and AE ask for confirmation if you have an escort in your party.
• Ignore already activated pedestals.
• Checks for and waits on any rechargeable items.
• Checks for and reloads any ammo in offhand quiver.
• Waits for cooldowns of talents set to auto-use.
• Waits for depleted air to replenish.
• Combines all checks into a single instance of rest, rather than having cooldowns etc. require a second resting phase.

Determines how auto-explore and running respond to telepathy, including mouse moves. Regardless of the setting, hostiles seen via telepathy will not halt resting or the Rod of Recall, nor trigger automated talents. Unique or powerful monsters (rank > 3) will always trigger a halt to running when they are spotted via telepathy for any mode except 'Original'.

Available modes:
• 'Always Viligant' always stops running when a hostile creature is seen via telepathy.
• 'Original' is standard ToME auto-explore behavior, which ignores telepathy when running or auto-exploring.

• Compatible with ToME v1.6.0

• Telepathy will not prevent auto-exploring the way normal sight will. If a halt is triggered by telepathy, hitting auto-explore again will move you at least one more square in the direction of the auto-explore path. If in 'Always Viligant' mode and a hostile is within telepathic sight (but not normal sight), you will auto-explore in 1 square per keypress increments.

Significantly increases the number of items available for purchase in all shops, and allows some higher-quality items.

Players can set the number of items with the new option appearing in the 'Game Options/Gameplay' tab.

Adds several new gem types and attempts to fill in some gaps in Tiered gem colors; also adds the Crystal race.

This is a continuation of jayseesee's original addon. It's my hope that the gems in this release are balanced, consistent across tiers, and useful to a variety of different characters.

Also hopefully all the Crystal's balance issues have been worked out: it should be an interesting tactical challenge to make best use of its unique mobility, find the right time to exploit its Runic Saturation status clear Stasis talent, and optimal self-imbued gemstone for each dungeon.

Primary Features
Druid class:
Uncast spells to produce nature based magical effects.
Its an agile nature mage, but can be played as a fighter/mage hybrid, or as a summoner hybrid.
Uses staves, alchemist gems and equilibrium.
Werebeast Class:
Werebeast fits somewhere between Cursed and Wyrmic, with a touch of Rogue thrown in.
Flavour is you have been cursed by nature's hate at those who harm it.
Can be played with conventional weapons or dual mindstars, stealthy or heavy.
Uses both Hate and Equilibrium.
Woodsman Class:
Archery, Summoning and Traps.
Use whatever you need to survive.
Summoner:
A full rework is available.
Allows you to command your critters to attack or defend.
Wyrmic:
A few talents improved and many new categories.
General:
Loads of nature based artifacts.
A few of new inscriptions.
Oozemancer can get the Wild-gift/Symbiant category.

Druid Info

Zigur:
As Druid's use spells they cannot become a Zigur follower, as this would make all their talents unusable.
However, you can still attempt to join Zigur, you might get something special instead.
