| Addons | Discordant class (and friends) - enemy edition 1.6.7This is a fork of Rukaneo's Discordant and Friends, itself a fork of Vectorinox's Discordant and Friends. This fork removes the brakes on the original addon by allowing enemies to get all non-customer classes from this addon, and marks some of the most egregiously broken (on enemies) talents as enemy-unusable. Each class should now be a challenge to work around on enemies, rather than being literally unkillable (notably primitive and discordant). ----------- Original from VectorinoxDescriptionsAdd Discordant as playable psionic subclass. A psionic tank with death radius around them (think of Mindrot, but less sucky). Wins battle through attrition, melts trash mobs just by standing. Can also spam tele-frags if you feel like it. Add Kudzu as playable wilder subclass. Invasive, annoying, and hard to get rid of. Master of crowd controls and area denials. Cover the world with fungus, lichens, moss, and kudzus. Add Scorpion as playable rogue subclass. Stealthy brawler with poison fist. Pull in your enemy and dethrone them with chain of combos. Add Critic as playable afflicted subclass. High-risk, high-reward, critical-centric class that use feedback pool as life. Overpower your enemy with overwhelming amount of Gestures, or die from receiving too much criticism. Add Colossus as playable race. Artificial giant constructed by dwarves, has the same start location as dwarf. Durable race with some drawbacks. Also like gold. This is a practice addon intended for personal use, but thank you if you decided to check it out anyway. Bonus class: Primitive, master of bump-attack *joke class* ------------- [ Creditshttp://game-icons.net/ Changelog1.0.0:- Initial release Deathknight Compatibility Patch 1.7.0Fixes compatibility issues between Deathknight and other addons. Combust - Found on 'Pyrophage' items, if you hit a burning enemy, cause an aoe of fire damage and gain a temporary life-regen buff. Mystical Recovery - Found on shields, when blocking, 20% chance to lower the cooldown of a random spell-type talent based on item level. All That Glitters - Activated talent found on Rings, gives you a temporary buff to Spellpower based on how much money you have. This is only a small sampling of new additions among the 10 semi-random Artifacts and 100+ Egos. There are still many more of both to come and I will be posting a full breakdown of all the new components soon. At this time, many of the added Egos are Greater, so they will only appear on blue or purple items. Designed to be compatible with other addons, please report any possible collision issues. In the meantime, please check it out and post any questions, concerns, or tuning feedback. I'm aware there is another addon named "Let there be gnomes" which was last updated in 2015, but this addon has nothing to do with it. Having never tried that addon I have no idea if there would be compatibility issues if you loaded them both (if you even could load a race addon that hasn't been updated in 6 years /shrug). -- Class+Race Pack 1.7.4Adds several new classes and races: - Moon Fox race: Race that can radically transform class and generic talents by attaching tails to them. Luminously-beautiful and deadly, those who learn to ride its mercurial ebbs and flows shall wield power far beyond mortal magic. Adapt to their capricious will and unleash havoc upon the battlefield in a chaotic flash of mist-woven steel! Wood Sprite (race): Eyal-born faeries of wood and wind, mischievous and mobile. Unburdened by heavy armour, fly circles around your witless adversaries before sending them peacefully to their graves in a gentle Midsummer Dream! Shattered between Spring's slothful light and Autumn's merciless chill, find peace within your broken halves to dominate any who oppose you with peerlessly destructive and illusive magic! Fetch (race): Wretched imitations of mortals created by and for the faeries' fancy, forever yearning to be whole. Players can set the number of items with the new option appearing in the 'Game Options/Gameplay' tab. Hermetic Sanctuary 1.3.0Automatically shuts down the four summoning portals on the Sanctum. Frequently Asked Questions: Sholtar - Cider's fork 1.5.5Adds the Sholtar as a playable Human subrace. Sholtar have no racial talents of their own; instead, the four slots can be used to learn talents from defeated enemies (of a high enough rank). In this manner, the Sholtar can improve nearly any class by adding abilities from other calsses, or even talents that are normally exclusive to NPCs. Sholtar are not quite as powerful as other humans, recieving -3 points to all stats and a life rating of 8. They are exceptionally thorough in their studying and gain an extra generic and class talent point every 6 levels. This thoroughness, unfortunately, also leads to a 50% experience penalty. Original by nsrr and keevan, forked and nerfed into oblivion by mannendake, with adjustments for insane since monsters sometimes have dozens of levels in a talent. Forked and unnerfed a bit by Ciderdown so it could be used in lower difficulties where the exp penalty hurts so much more. In exchange for a lower exp penalty, a confusion resist penalty has been added. Forked for my personal use. Credit for the work on this addon and modifications to it goes to those before me. --- The Sholtar were once a great nation, with many vasts cities in the southeastern regions of Maj'Eyal. Dual-Classes Reworked by AscendingPhoenix (Rae edit) 1.7.6 Small edit done by me that nerfs enemy talent level scaling across the board. I take no credit for this great rework of the original Multi-Class challenge, all credit goes
to AscendingPhoenix, find the orignal mod here: https://te4.org/games/addons/tome/dual-class-challengeAllows the player to pick two classes, but the difficulty scales upward. The mod dramatically ramps up the difficulty level to compensate. (Original by StarKeep, forked mod by Raenarill). You advance twice as fast, and gain six talent category points: at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, and 60. You gain normal stat points until level 51. BLITZ MODE: You gain two thirds more talent points. After level 66, you gain one class talent point per level and one generic every two out of three levels. CLASSIC MODE: features base game talent points until level 100. CLASS EVOLUTIONS: You can swap your first and second classes in the Game Options tab for evolutionary purposes. TIP: Good equipment takes the usual time to show up, so you probably will see it at about lvl 50 with dual classing enabled. In order to activate this addon, look at your Game Options for a new tab. Enjoy. Inferno Race Pack 1.7.0Adds a collection of my races. Ignore Race/Class Locks 1.7.0Modifies the character creation dialog to bypass the lock check for races and classes, allowing characters to be created using locked races and classes. This is a personalized version of Trea’s Xorn Race mod. It doubles the number of ring/glove slots. It also doubles life gain from constitution. Bazaar 1.2.5- This addon introduces a new variant of vault, the bazaar, where you don't fight for items, but rather buy (or steal) them. - A central aspect of this addon is a new questline (consisting of 3 follow-up-quests), which introduces the player to the bazaar-system. The questline starts in the Village of Elvala (look out for a special npc - he will lookout for you as well). - I took the idea to this addon from starsapphire (Idea : Markets in dungeons! - http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=39&t=42553) ------ Details: ------ (1) Bazaars can appear in most dungeons and outdoor zones, which happen to also generate vaults; chances for regular vault-generation aren't being limited. Bazaars won't appear in the East however - tradesmen haven't made it there yet. (2) Each bazaar contains a shopkeeper and a limited amount of items, which can't be pickuped by normal means (they are chained to the ground). Instead, you either have to pay to be able to pick up such an item - or you try to unchain it (success chances scale with cunning, dexterity and talent points in Heightened Senses and Stealth). Failure to unchain it will trigger a trap which teleports the player (and his party) to a parallel zone ("Mirrorscape"). --> To escape from the Mirrorscape, a special guardian needs to be killed. Alternatively, there are two hidden exit points. The Power of the Guardian scales extremely with the Base-Level of the Zone (Break-Points: Level 20, 30, 50, 70) and the item-quality the trap is based on (unique items are protected by stronger guardians). Killing the guardian allows the player to pick up the item in question. --> Killing the shopkeeper unchains all item in his shop. Shopkeepers are extremely strong, however. (3) Additionally, each shopkeeper has a rare ingredient for sale, and some of them also sell maps, which point to special treasure areas in a variety of zones. To find out about these special goods, chat with the vendor. (Again, treasuremaps point only to zones in the West.) (4)In Elvala starts a questline, which leads to the discovery of a new zone, The Bazaar. Follow-up quests then introduce more in depth to the bazaar system. (5) Most bazaar-vaults will also be generated inside the Infinite Dungeon - most Treasuremaps also work here. (6) From time to time, a caravan will spawn on the overworld map. Encountering a caravan is similar to an "Ambush", however without meeting hostile npcs - instead, two shopkeepers will offer their items. So, How to start? --> Go to Elvala, talk with a nice dwarf! Notable modifications to the core game: - added a new Faction ("Free Traders") Feedback about bugs, improvements, compatibility issues very welcome. Fixed: 24.11. 27.11 1.12 12.12 20.12. - removed an empty event file from the bazaar main zone, as it would trigger an error with the latest ashes update 01.02. Changes: New Gem Types 1.5.10Adds several new gem types and attempts to fill in some gaps in Tiered gem colors; also adds the Crystal race. This is a continuation of jayseesee's original addon. It's my hope that the gems in this release are balanced, consistent across tiers, and useful to a variety of different characters. Also hopefully all the Crystal's balance issues have been worked out: it should be an interesting tactical challenge to make best use of its unique mobility, find the right time to exploit its Runic Saturation status clear Stasis talent, and optimal self-imbued gemstone for each dungeon. As always, please let me know if you find any issues in terms of bugs, game mechanics, or interface! Mage Knight 1.7.0Adds the Mage Knight metaclass, and its six sub-classes. Forum discussion thread: http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=50&t=48329 Phoenix Knight: Powerful warriors who blast their foes with solar fire while calling healing light upon their allies. Their solar fire attacks will strike as either fire or light damage, whichever will hit their target the hardest, and their potent healing and cleansing abilities make them tough opponents to bring down. Mind Knight: Psionic warriors who strengthen their mental abilities by tapping into their inner magic. Adept at telekinesis, telepathy, and teleportation, they are mobile scouts who can quickly get a lay of the land and sow chaos among their foes with physical and mental debilitations, or even outright compulsions. Storm Knight: Swift skirmishers who rely on extreme mobility and powerful lightning magic to strike their foes down and avoid reprisals. Extremely fast and difficult to pin down, they can cast entire enemy units into disarray with their wealth of area attacks. All mage knights can cast while they fight, but experienced storm knights are also able to fight while they move. Earth Knight: The heaviest of infantry, earth knights hammer their foes with physical and natural forces while shielding themselves with the power of the earth. Highly resilient in the face of any attack, earth knights provide a slow and steady offense supported by powerful gemstone shields and the endurance of a living mountain. Sea Knight: Healers first, fighters second, battle mages a somewhat distant third, while sea knights lack the raw offensive power of other mage knights, they make up for it with amazing personal defense and recovery abilities. And though their attacks may be individually weak, like the sea itself, they are able to wear down even the strongest defenses eventually, eroding their opponents away with gradually strengthening spells, making them terrors in a battle of attrition. Mana Knight: Experimenting pioneers who do amazing things with raw magical energy. They have the most conventional magical training of the mage knights, even if they sometimes put it to unconventional use. Their arcane attacks can overwhelm the powers of other spellcasters, and while they lack the scope of power of full-fledged archmages, they are masters of the fundamentals of the various arcane schools. Select your Escorts 1.7.0Allows you to choose which escorts you will encounter at the start of the game. There is an option to choose a random escort in case you just wanted to guarantee some unlocks before continuing with the base game's behavior. Note: You're only supposed to be able to choose the lost tinker once. (Must have the Embers of Rage DLC and unlocked by playing in the Orcs campaign) To reach me faster, please leave a message on the Steam Workshop page. I don't get notifications on te4.org so I may take longer to reply. Exponential Leveling 1.7.4Exponential Leveling is an addon that changes the amount of points (stats, class, ..) and optionally resources (hp/stamina/mana/regen..) you gain upon EACH level up. Being fully configurable, it can also be used to make the game easier as you wish to. THIS DOES NOT DISABLE IN-GAME AND STEAM ACHIEVEMENTS. How to use this addon: - Download and install, of course. Check if the addon is ACTIVATED. If you have another addon that superload/overload player.lua, it might conflict.
- Start a New Game.
- Under Options > Gameplay, you can enable or disable the addon. This will work from the next levelup. It cannot be used retroactively.
- You can also change mode of operating (Default is balanced) and optional modes of operation (Also increase resources, life, etc on levelup) or be left as is.
Operating Modes: - Balanced -> Gives extra points in a fair way depending on your difficulty (Nightmare, Insane and Madness)
- Extra Points -> Gives many more points than vanilla in any difficulty
- Cheatish -> Gives way more points than you'll ever need
- Only Life -> Does NOT change how many points you gain on levelup, but provide some extra MAX HP on levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
Optional Modes (These work alongside Operating Modes): - None -> Nothing else than what chosen under Operating Modes
- All Resources -> Increase stamina, mana, hate, vim, etc (MAX and regen) upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options.
- MAX HP -> Increase only MAX HP and not all resources upon levelup. How much per level can be configured under the options. Stacks with Only Life if you want to.
POINTS COMPARISON (Example: Cornac Rogue at lv50): STATS | TALENTS | GENERIC | CATEGORY | PRODIGIES | MAX HP | STAMINA VANILLA | 160 | 70 | 49 | 4 | 2 | 958 | 247 BALANCED NIGHTMARE | 181 | 127 | 101 | 9 | 5 | 958 | 247 BALANCED INSANE | 217 | 145 | 119 | 12 | 8 | 958 | 247 BALANCED MADNESS | 269 | 166 | 140 | 20 | 17 | 958 | 247 EXTRA POINTS | 212 | 171 | 150 | 14 | 17 | 958 | 247 CHEATISH | 1140 | 560 | 539 | 102 | 202 | 958 | 247 ONLY LIFE | 160 | 70 | 49 | 4 | 2 | 1252+ | 247 + ALL RESOURCES | - | - | - | - | - | 1252+ | 396+ All resources ALSO gives, by a small amount, resources regeneration like: mana, stamina, vim, positive/negative, hate (per kill, not passively generated), psi and reduces equilibrium (by a small amount) every turn even in combat. Update v4.0.3
Dual-Classes Reworked by AscendingPhoenix 1.7.4Allows the player to pick two classes, but the difficulty scales upward. (Original by StarKeep, modded by Raenarill). In order to activate this addon, look at your Game Options for a new tab. Hiveminder Class 1.7.0Adds Hiveminders, an insect-themed wilder class, as a birth option. Hiveminders are a melee class specialising in dual-wielded daggers or psiblades. They command their vast hivemind to lend them potent support and utility powers which make up for their lacking offense. Hiveminder talent trees include: Hivemind: Resonate your mind with your insects to enhance your perception and enthrall enemies! Hiveminders also have access to the Combat Training, Lethality, Call of the Wild, and Mindstar Mastery generic trees by default, and can additionally unlock the Fungus and Mobility trees through levelling up. Power is a subtle thing, adventurer. The smallest of factors can make the greatest of differences. Custom Difficulty 1.7.5Allows you to set the level of enemies, the frequency of rare creatures, and some other elements of difficulty independently during character creation, to make the game as easy or hard as you like. If you make the game at least as hard as a vanilla difficulty setting, you qualify for that difficulty's achievements. This mod will be incompatible with other mods that re-arrange the character creation screen. Movarc'h's Improved Escorts - Bamboo Edition 1.7.4Improvements to the escort system. Adds a bunch of new types of escorts, and increases the power and number of options for existing escorts. Additionally learning new categories unlocks them by default, or can improve your mastery if you already know them. This is a fork of Movarc'h's Impoved Escorts by mannendake. Credit to Disnag for necromancer escort and Movarc'h for the base addon. Sun Paladin + Evolution Buff Pack 1.7.4Buffs talents for Sun Paladins, as well as their evolutions. Sun Paladin
